Vista Ridge Metropolitan District is a Special District; a local government, i.e., a political subdivision of the State of Colorado. Colorado law limits the types of services that city and county governments can provide to residents. Some of the municipal services at Vista Ridge are being provided by the District, a Special District which serves only the Vista Ridge property.
