2024-2025 Landscaping and Irrigation Improvement Project
The Vista Ridge Metropolitan District is pleased to announce the upcoming installation of a new irrigation system and major roadway landscape improvements, set to begin in October.
The irrigation work will start after the winter shutdown and will include installing a new pump and filtration system, new main lines, smart controllers, and new watering lines for all landscape areas along the major roadways in the neighborhood (see attached map). Weather permitting, this work will be completed by early Spring 2025.
After the irrigation system upgrade is complete, significant landscape improvements will follow. These improvements will involve removing selected turf areas, mulch, shrubs, and a few trees. New xeriscaping will be added, featuring native grasses, trees, flowering shrubs, decorative rock, and hardscaping.
During certain construction phases, lane closures along Vista Parkway, Mountain View, Sunset, and Skyline Drive are expected. Please be mindful of the safety of workers and pedestrians in these areas. Materials and equipment will be staged on the north side of Sunset Drive, west of Vista Parkway, near the golf course maintenance yard. This lot is being provided by the developer at no cost to the District.
